Stopping Demonic Attacks & Assignments

One of the most challenging forms of spiritual warfare is when demonic influence begins attacking you through another person. When the person wants to keep the demon, you cannot cast it out of them — but God did not leave you without protection or authority.

Scripture teaches that you can bind every demonic assignment, operation, influence, communication, and work directed toward you. Binding their works stops their effect, even if the demon remains in the person. This devotional will teach you how to use your God‑given authority to silence lying spirits, shut down demonic operations, and stop every evil assignment sent against your life.

Demons Are Subject to Believers

1. Luke 10:17 – “Lord, even the demons are subject unto us through Thy name.”

Explanation

Jesus made it clear: demons are subject to believers. The Greek word hypotassō means to submit, yield, or obey a higher authority. Demons cannot override the authority of Jesus operating through you. They cannot continue attacking you once you bind their assignments and forbid their operations.
