God is still performing miracles today. The same Jesus who healed the sick, delivered the oppressed, raised the dead, and made a way where there was no way is alive and working in the lives of His people. Faith does not focus on the size of the problem but on the greatness of God. Whether you need healing, provision, restoration, deliverance, direction, or breakthrough, God is able to do what seems impossible. As you read and pray through this devotional, allow your expectation to rise and your faith to be anchored in God’s promises.
- “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8
- “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37
- “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” Jeremiah 33:3
- “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” Ephesians 3:20
Miracles are not limited by circumstances, human ability, time, or natural understanding. God specializes in situations that appear beyond repair. While every miracle is subject to God’s perfect will and timing, believers are encouraged to approach Him boldly, pray persistently, and trust Him completely.
Positioning Yourself to Receive Your Miracle
Receiving from God begins with faith, but faith is more than believing for a blessing. Faith trusts God’s character even before the answer appears. Position yourself by staying in God’s Word, maintaining a consistent prayer life, worshiping during difficult seasons, forgiving those who have hurt you, and walking in obedience to God’s leading. Expectation grows when your focus remains on God rather than your circumstances.
- • “But without faith it is impossible to please him.” Hebrews 11:6
- • “Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” Psalm 37:5
Prayer for Faith and Expectation: Father, I thank You that You are the God of the impossible. Strengthen my faith and help me trust You completely. Remove every fear, doubt, and unbelief from my heart. Fill me with confidence in Your promises and expectation for what You can do. Help me keep my eyes on You instead of my circumstances. I choose to believe Your report above every negative report. Thank You that You are faithful and that Your plans for my life are good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer for a Miracle
Some miracles happen suddenly, while others unfold through a process. Regardless of how God chooses to work, we can confidently bring every need before Him. Nothing is too difficult for the Lord, and nothing is beyond His power to change.
- • “Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.” Jeremiah 32:17
- • “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” Matthew 7:7
Prayer for a Miracle: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I bring my needs before You today. Nothing is hidden from Your sight and nothing is beyond Your power. I ask You to move in my situation according to Your perfect will. Open doors that no man can shut, make a way where there seems to be no way, and bring divine intervention into every area that needs Your touch. Let healing flow where there is sickness, provision come where there is lack, restoration where there has been loss, and peace where there has been turmoil. I place my confidence in You alone. Thank You for hearing my prayer and for working on my behalf even when I cannot yet see the answer. Amen.
Prayer for Delayed Miracles
Waiting can become one of the greatest tests of faith. Many heroes of the Bible experienced delays between the promise and the fulfillment, yet God proved faithful to each one. Delays do not mean God has forgotten you, abandoned you, or rejected your prayers. Often, God is working behind the scenes in ways that cannot yet be seen.
- • “Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come.” Habakkuk 2:3
- • “They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength.” Isaiah 40:31
Prayer for Delayed Miracles: Father, I surrender every disappointment, frustration, and unanswered question to You. Strengthen me to remain faithful while I wait. I refuse to allow discouragement to steal my expectation. Help me trust Your timing and Your wisdom. Renew my strength, restore my hope, and establish my heart in faith. I declare that what You have promised will come to pass according to Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Waiting for My Miracle and Removing Hindrances
While waiting for breakthrough, continue moving forward in faith. Stay close to God, guard your thoughts, reject fear and negativity, forgive quickly, spend time in the Word, and remain thankful. Sometimes the greatest hindrance is not the problem itself but unbelief, bitterness, unforgiveness, discouragement, or giving up too soon. The enemy wants to weaken your confidence, but God’s Word calls you to stand firm and continue believing.
- • “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7
- • “Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9
Prayer for Endurance and Removing Hindrances: Father, help me remain steadfast while I wait for Your promises. Expose and remove anything in my life that may hinder my spiritual growth and faith. I renounce doubt, fear, unbelief, bitterness, and discouragement. Strengthen me to stand firm in faith and trust Your Word above my circumstances. Let my heart remain focused on You. Fill me with peace, perseverance, and unwavering confidence in Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
When It Doesn’t Make Sense
There are moments when circumstances seem completely opposite of what we are believing for. The diagnosis gets worse, the door closes, the financial pressure increases, or the answer seems further away than ever. This is often where faith is tested the most. Faith is not believing only when things make sense. Faith continues trusting God when circumstances suggest otherwise. Some of the greatest miracles in Scripture happened after every natural possibility had been exhausted.
- • “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7
- • “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5
Prayer When It Doesn’t Make Sense: Father, when I do not understand what You are doing, help me trust You anyway. When my circumstances seem confusing, remind me that You are still in control. Keep me from becoming discouraged, offended, or weary in my faith. Help me walk by faith and not by what I see. Give me peace in uncertainty, strength in weakness, and confidence in Your faithfulness. I trust that You are working all things together for good even when I cannot yet see the outcome. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Prayer Against Demonic Resistance
Spiritual opposition is real, but Jesus Christ has already won the victory. As believers, we stand in His authority and enforce what He accomplished through His death and resurrection. We are not fighting for victory; we are standing in the victory He has already secured for us.
- • “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3:8
- • “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19
Prayer Against Demonic Resistance: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I stand on Your Word and authority. Every demonic assignment resisting Your purposes in my life, the Lord rebuke you. Every spirit of delay, oppression, discouragement, confusion, and hindrance, loose me and come out in Jesus’ name. Every yoke, chain, and burden sent against my life be broken by the power of God. I plead the blood of Jesus over my mind, family, finances, health, and future. I declare that every plan of the enemy is canceled and every purpose of God shall prevail. I receive God’s freedom, peace, and victory. Thank You, Lord, for complete deliverance and breakthrough through Jesus Christ. Amen.
Thanksgiving Before the Miracle Appears
One of the highest expressions of faith is thanking God before the answer arrives. Praise shifts our focus from the problem to the One who is greater than the problem. Throughout Scripture, God’s people often praised Him before they saw the victory. Thanksgiving demonstrates confidence that God is already at work.
- • “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
- • “Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.” Psalm 103:1
Prayer of Thanksgiving: Father, I thank You for Your faithfulness, even before I see the answer. Thank You for working behind the scenes on my behalf. Thank You for every door You are opening, every obstacle You are removing, every prayer You are answering, and every blessing You are preparing. I choose gratitude over worry and praise over fear. Fill my heart with peace and confidence as I wait upon You. I give You glory in advance for every miracle, breakthrough, healing, provision, and victory that You have prepared according to Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
